As a five star hotel General Manager, there is an expectation from your guests for perfection and delivering on a service expectation. As the General Manager one is also looking at better and more improved ways to carry out daily operational tasks, with an overriding benefit of cost reduction whilst still delivering on our promise to each and every guest – a positive memorable hotel stay.It was therefore an easy decision for myself and the team to contract DFI – Diamon Fusion International and in this regard, Dylan John to present to us the benefits of using Nano technology on our glass surfaces- essentially to start with our shower screens and hard to reach higher level windows.
We were given a demonstration on property on a particularly poor looking glass shower screen with a build up of lime scale from hard water and the use of harsh chemicals that was used in an attempt to maintain a bright, shiny five star glass surface.
After the three step cleaning process with the DFI Nano tech products and some buffing of the glass we soon realized our screens had never looked this good and the hotel had possibly achieved the best looking shower screens for our guests.
Whilst the cost to produce this result for the entire resort was not a cheap one, by entering into an agreement where all of our screens and ultimately windows were treated would result in a lot less man hours needed by the housekeeping team to clean the glass – [a definite cost saving with operational benefits], a more green and cost effective way to clean the glass [no harsh chemicals – great for the environment and once again a cost saving] which resulted in one less major service element the resort team needed to concern themselves with as we were presenting a bathroom to our guests that now looked sparkly, shiny and clean- as if new.
With the success of the bathroom Nano tech treatments, we rolled the treatment out to our new build villas which included bathrooms, all windows and bi fold doors- cleaning is now an easy process with water and a micro fiber cloth.
I highly recommend Dylan and his team to assist in a green initiative with far reaching rewards – cost savings and ultimately satisfied guests.
